*听With the exception of听The Big Bad Fox, most of the films we will showcase are meant for more mature audiences. France doesn鈥檛 use a similar system of film rating meaning there isn鈥檛 a set 鈥淧G/PG-13/R鈥� rating that we can use to label the films.
Tourn茅es Film Festival is made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., the Centre National du Cin茅ma et de l鈥橧mage Anim茅e (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
The World Languages and Cultures department presents the German Film Festival (SERIE). Through the generosity of the Goethe-Institut (Boston, MA) and the assistance of the 新彩网 Society for the Arts and Humanities, we secured the rights to five films to screen on campus for a large public audience.

World Languages and Cultures at 新彩网 presented the third installment in the international film series with a German Film Festival (SERIE). Through the generosity of the Goethe-Institut (Boston, MA) and the assistance of the 新彩网 Society for the Arts and Humanities, we secured the rights to five films 鈥撎�M,听Lili Marleen,听The System,听Almanya: Welcome to Germany, and听Run Lola Run听- which were screened on campus for a large public audience.
With over 500 attendees, the first Tourn茅es Film Festival at 新彩网 in 2015 was a huge success! We couldn't have done it without the support of the 新彩网 and Tri-State communities.
A woman's quest to uncover her past in Martinique. A single father's touching relationship with his daughter, set in a bleak, rural town in Quebec. The charmingly animated story of friendship between a bear and a mouse. Through these stories and more, you will discover French and Francophone culture in six critically acclaimed films. Through the generous support of the FACE Foundation, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the 新彩网, we are bringing you the听听on听Fridays at 7:30 p.m.听from听January 23 - February 27.听 The films will be shown in French with English subtitles.
