Love in theTime of Corona听exposes the constantly changing emotions that we have felt during the past three years in regards to ourselves, our bodies, our relationships, and loss. Coronavirus has brought with it a series of mixed emotions and an overall sense of disconnection. This exhibition seeks to put images to those emotions.

Anna Corder听is an artist and illustrator based out of Louisville, Kentucky. She is passionate about portraying a variety of bodies, poses,听 and world cultures, with an emphasis on bringing attention to the intrinsic beauty of 鈥渦ndesirable鈥 bodies that are not widely depicted in art.

Hannah Jones听is an artist based out of Newburgh, Indiana. She recently completed the Efroymson Bridge Year Fellowship, with a solo exhibition at the Kenneth P. McCutchan Art Center and Palmina F. and Stephen S. Pace Galleries entitled听Love is a Gift that is Surely Handmade. Her work can be described as dream-like, with figurative and narrative paintings that incorporate mixed media. She views her work through a stack of generational lenses, with her own perspective of coming into adulthood alongside anxiety, fatigue, and a global pandemic.

Inka Kobylanski听is an artist based in Newburgh, Indiana. Her pieces work towards exposing the beauty of sexuality within the figures and the audience. She believes that anatomy is the carefully constructed flora of the body, with nerves branching out like roots to every leaf, every stem, and every petal.

Cheyenne Miller听is an artist based out of Newburgh, Indiana. Her work explores the concepts of the female experience, sexuality, and individual experience with mental illness, influenced by an overarching theme of art history.

Al Sheets听is a non-binary illustrator and graphic designer from New Albany, Indiana. Their work explores exaggeration of form and proportion, and investigates a body鈥檚 relationship to itself, others, and the world surrounding it. As they evolve, so too does their work as they explore promoting visibility of androgynous and intersex bodies.

New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of students through an artist-run exhibition space in the Back Gallery. BG Projects at NHGCA allows students to exhibit, experiment, and/or curate within a working contemporary art gallery setting. Through exhibition and curatorial strategies, students can envision new possibilities for collaborations and their art practice.

New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art promotes discourse about and access to contemporary art in the Southern Indiana region.
