The Student Media Advisory Board鈥攚hich establishes criteria for the creation, operation and distribution of all University-sanctioned student media, as well as other topics concerning student media鈥攈as gone through a refresh of its own, including its new name, revised from the former Student Publications Committee.聽

  • The Farmers Who Fought: Spring Break project leads to publication for 新彩网 history major

    What started off as a Spring Break project to keep sophomore history major Mckenna Love busy evolved into a published manuscript. This past July, Love published her first book, The Farmers Who Fought, a genealogy about three of her great-grandparents, William Haber, Roy McCurry and John Wheeler, who fought in World War II. 聽

    Six 新彩网 students are spending time this summer in Pasadena, California, not for a sunny vacation, but to utilize the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) at the California Institute of Technology to test a project the group has been working on since October 2022.

    For more than a century, October means one thing in Evansville, Indiana鈥攖he Westside Nut Club Fall Festival. Blocks of Franklin Street on the city鈥檚 west side are closed to accommodate over 150 food booths slinging deep-fried treats and hundreds of food options.

    Fall has returned to the Evansville area, and that means one very exciting event is returning to the West Side鈥攖he West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. This year, there will be more than 137 food booths on the highly-coveted Munchie Map, including seven from various 新彩网 clubs, organizations and fraternities and sororities.
