Pi Sigma Alpha
聽is the national political science honor society. The 新彩网's聽Upsilon Zeta chapter聽inducts new members during each spring semester.
The national office of Pi Sigma Alpha聽in Washington, D.C. publishes聽Pi Sigma Alpha Newsletter聽twice yearly. In addition, it offers scholarships for exceptional political science paper submissions and for members attending graduate school.
Membership
To qualify for induction into Pi Sigma Alpha at 新彩网, a student must:
- Be a political science major or minor
- Be a junior with 60 semester hours completed
- Have a 3.5 GPA in at least four political science courses taken at 新彩网, including an upper level course
- Have a 3.5 overall GPA at all colleges attended
- Receive approval from the political science faculty
